These terms cover your use of this website and the phone line for Chesterfield Express Plumbing. We wrote them in plain words. By using the site or calling the line, you agree to them. If something here is unclear, call and ask before you book a visit.
The short version: the site gives general information, the price is stated before work starts, and anything we agree to is agreed on the call.
What this site is
This site describes our plumbing services and offers general guidance. It is not a substitute for a plumber looking at your pipes, and it is not legal, insurance or engineering advice. Pages about drains, water heaters or leaks describe common situations. Your home may be different.
Information about local places, water quality and city programs is drawn from public sources and can change. Check with the City of Chesterfield, St. Louis County or Missouri American Water for current details.
Price and scope of work
You hear a clear price before work starts. The plumber explains the problem, the repair and the cost on site, and work begins when you agree. If the job turns out to need more than first expected, we tell you before anything changes.
What we do for you is what we agreed on the call and at your door. We do not guarantee outcomes beyond that agreement. A repair that is described and priced is the repair you can expect, and nothing on this website adds promises to it.
Emergencies and gas leaks
For a fire, injury or any danger to life, call 911 first. Our line is a plumbing line, not an emergency service.
If you smell gas, leave the building right away, do not use switches, lighters or phones inside, and call the gas utility or 911 from outside. Call us only after you are safe. Do not return until the utility or fire department says it is safe.
- 1Leave the building and move upwind.
- 2Do not flip light switches or start a car in a closed garage.
- 3Call the gas utility or 911 from outside.
- 4Call the 24/7 line for plumbing once you are safe.
Questions about these terms?
Ask on the phone before you book anything.
Appointments and service area
We book same-day appointments when available, and we say so honestly when the earliest visit is later. We do not promise an arrival time. Coverage is decided by street address, as explained on our service area page.
We may decline a job outside our area or outside plumbing. When we decline, we tell you on the call so you can look elsewhere.
Limits on our responsibility
We stand behind the work we agreed to do. Beyond that, our responsibility is limited. We are not responsible for damage that existed before our visit, for problems caused by hidden conditions we could not reasonably see, or for losses that come from a delay you or a third party caused.
To the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim connected to this site or a visit is limited to the amount you paid for the work in question. Some rights cannot be waived, and these terms do not try to remove them.
Using the site, privacy and Missouri law
Please do not copy the site, misuse the phone line or place calls that are not real requests. We may refuse service to anyone who does.
How we handle call information is explained in our privacy policy. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, and nothing here changes your rights under them. We may update these terms, and the version on this page is the one in effect.
